Dear Spacer Letter 2018
Feb. 18th, 2018 08:10 pmHi! First of all, thanks for taking a look at my letter!I’ve tried to give a few ideas and guidelines as to what I like here, but please don’t feel the need to stick rigidly to anything. If you have a story you just feel I’ll like, please go ahead with it!

I’m a fan of romance, adventure (especially quests!), casefic, plotty fic, fluff, gen, world-building and character studies. I am happy with any rating and any tone, from fluffy curtain fic down to pretty dark stuff. I usually prefer at least a bittersweet ending, though. I love fics that are realistic and I love stuff that’s tropey as all get out; go wild.
Some themes/tropes I really love include: characters fighting against/changing fate, everything about survival (what it means, how it changes you, the lengths you went to), the pressures and struggles of leadership, two people against the world together, found family anything, harsh/beautiful (or harshly beautiful) physical landscapes, gifts or gestures with intense or very personal meanings, anything where characters just get one another, characters who grapple with becoming evil or doing evil deeds, villains who believe they’re in the right, villains who just don’t care about morality, characters who are determined hope will prevail above all else, characters who really feel the weight of their heritage/someone's legacy and a pressure to live up to that.
Specifically relationship themed tropes: Seemingly Unrequited Pining, Friends to Lovers, Fake Dating/Fake Marriage Accidentally Turns Into Feelings, Battle Couple, Everyone Can See It, Like An Old Married Couple
I am also very into AUs and fusions, including: fantasy (urban, high, whatever), post-apocalypse, sci-fi/space, superpowers, Pacific Rim fusions, reincarnation, royal/arranged marriage
I am also very up for receiving porn! I really love porn that’s about the characters and centres their relationship. Emotionally charged, desperate, I-need-you-it-can’t-wait sex is fantastic! Sex that’s the culmination of a slow burn and/or a really intense bout of UST is my absolute jam. I’m pretty vanilla when it comes to things like BDSM, so anything beyond blindfolds and tying up wrists is a no-go for me. I’m not really into dom/sub dynamics, but a bit of dirty talk is great. A bit of rough sex – hair-pulling, pushing up against walls, not being 100% gentle all the time is also very good ;)

Female Revan: Essentially my favourite character in Star Wars - literally anything you write about her, I will love. I'd love something that deals with any possible identity crisis she may have had following the reveal that she was in fact Revan - or maybe something during her time leading the Republic's armies, or her own Sith armies?
Jolee: I'd love something about this grumpy old guy living alone on the dangerous forest floor of Kashyyyk, how he navigates the world, survives, deals with the creatures and the Wookiees. Basically, what's daily life like for Jolee in that world?
Juhani: I love Juhani's journey throughout the game, how she struggles with the dark side, how she comes to believe in herself. I'd love a fic that charts her arc throughout the game and how she learns and grows, and what she does next, how she takes her newfound knowledge and uses it to become an amazing Jedi.
Revan/Carth: I love the way the trust builds between them, and I'd love to see anything about that. That trust is also shattered by the reveal that Revan is Revan, so anything about them dealing with that would also be amazing. Someone ages ago prompted "hatesex where they still love each other too much for it to be hatesex" and I would so love to get that fic.
Revan/Juhani: As I said above I love Juhani's arc throughout the game, and I'd love to see how her development ties into her relationship with Revan, right through from their first meeting in the grove to Juhani's confession atop the Temple and the Star Forge. And where do they go afterwards?
Hyperspace Exploration: The galaxy isn't completely mapped by the time of the movies, and it's even less mapped at the time of KOTOR - the entire Sith empire exists in a region of space the Republic hasn't even discovered yet, after all. We know hyperspace exploration is really dangerous - so what kind of mad people sign up for it? What are the rewards and the risks? How exactly is it done? Is it regulated at all by the government? Who sponsors hyperspace explorers - companies, governments? A fic about hyperspace explorers discovering amazing or weird new planets would be awesome, or about a group stranded in space and having to try and figure out how to get home.
Jedi Order During the Mandalorian Wars: The Jedi Order we see in the KOTOR games seems less centralized than in the movies - so how do councils on different worlds relate to each other? We see the Jedi Order on Dantooine - what's it like on Coruscant? What's the Temple like? Who's on the Council?
Mandalorian Wars: Anything from any point or point of view character, from both sides of the battle - maybe a fic incorporating points of view from many different characters?
