I really love porn that’s about the characters and centres their relationship. Emotionally charged, desperate, I-need-you-it-can’t-wait sex is fantastic! Sex that’s the culmination of a slow burn and/or a really intense bout of UST is my absolute jam. I’m pretty vanilla when it comes to things like BDSM, so anything beyond blindfolds and tying up wrists is a no-go for me. I’m not really into dom/sub dynamics, but a bit of dirty talk is great. A bit of rough sex – hair-pulling, pushing up against walls, scratching/biting, not being 100% gentle all the time is also very good ;) Also, anything I’ve listed as a kink in that particular ship’s section is of course up for grabs; combine and use as you like.

Please, this needs a fix-it! I was literally yelling at my book when Gus got pulled under the sea. Literally anything that fixes that ending would be perfect for me - maybe a fic about how Jack saves Gus from the draug? Or a getting together fic in the months after they return from Norway? Anything about  their lives after they return, or perhaps a closer look at their feelings throughout the novel - we get Jack's diary, but as his final thoughts at the end hint, he may not be telling us everything when he sets things down on paper. Also, totally optional, but a canon divergence AU where Gus tells Jack about what he saw and/or they somehow end up staying at Grukuken together, just the two of them, and how they deal with the fear and the ghost, would be amazing. 

 

 

 

I would love to know everything about the relationship between these two. When and how do they meet? What happened to Celebrimbor after Nargothrond was destroyed - did he go to Balar, and thus meet Gil-Galad? How does Gil-Galad deal with becoming High King of the Noldor? Perhaps his example of kingship inspires Celebrimbor to become a leader in his own right in Ost-In-Edhil? I would love a fic about Celebrimbor setting the city up, and perhaps Gil-Galad coming to visit him? And we know Gil-Galad warned Celebrimbor against Annatar, and Celebrimbor ignored him - how did that go down, and how did it change their relationship?

 

I’m really into this pairing as ‘two grumpy smiths finally find someone they can relate to, accidentally fall in love’. I’d love anything about them getting to know each other, crafting together, and slowly and unexpectedly falling in love. How do they deal with it? Do they admit to it? Anything about culture clashes/differences between dwarves and elves would be amazing, as would Celebrimbor exploring Moria and finding out more about it from Narvi. Also maybe making things together, or for each other? I would absolutely love something in which they made jewellry for each other. Leaving each other presents of their work, secret admirer-style? 

 

I love the idea of mouthy, animal-obsessed Celegorm meeting the god of the forest - and probably being unimpressed. I would love if Orome was intrigued by this unusual young elf and impressed by his love of the natural world, so he ends up taking him under his wing - in more ways than one? ;) I would also love it if there was a focus on the inhuman nature and weirdness of Orome, especially in relation to any smut. And once Celegorm has left Valinor - does Orome ever visit Middle-Earth like he used to? Do they meet? Or perhaps Orome watches and mourns from afar as Celegorm goes further and further along his downward path? Do they meet in the Halls of Mandos after Celegorm's death, or perhaps at Dagor Dagorath? What do they say to each other? Some bittersweet smut maybe?

I would love really grumpy Maeglin/bright ray of sunshine Tuor. Why does this man keep following him around? Why does he keep trying to talk to him? To Tuor it seems obvious; he really likes Turgon and Idril, surely Maeglin must be just as cool as his family, right? I would essentially love Tuor being very curious about the prickly, stand-offish nephew of the King and determinedly following him around until Maeglin talks to him. Maeglin pretends he doesn't like it, but actually, there's something about this man...

 

Rog/Duilin 

So Duilin is an archer, and since Rog's house is called "The House of the Hammer of Wrath", I always sort of assumed he uses a hammer? This might make them opposites who annoy each other, or maybe they're curious about someone who's so different to them? I would love one of them being curious about the other, and taking steps to get to know one another. How did the Houses of Gondolin come to be, anyway, and how did the lords get picked? When did these two first meet? Totally optional, but I have a headcanon about Rog and his family being Avari, and it would be really cool to see the culture clash between him and Duilin if you went that route.

 

 

 

Tell me more about the Cleansers! I love the little bits of info we get in canon and I would love to see more. What's it like to be a cleanser day to day? How do you deal with the danger of it? Who is the OMC, and how does Emil meet him? Is this someone Emil met and had a casual thing with when he first joined, or perhaps a hardened, changed Emil returns from his journey into the Silent World and meets someone when he goes back to the Cleansers? I would really love to see how joining the Cleansers changed Emil, and how his journey in the Silent World changed him further, and how people notice that change when he comes back.

Yeah, I ship these two a lot. I love how Emil is always concerned for Lalli, and also just casually chats to him even though Lalli can't understand a word he's saying. These two sitting down and trying to teach the other their language would be fun! Or perhaps a fic about them picking up bits and pieces of each other's language along the journey? Where they are in canon right now could open the door to some h/c stuff, or perhaps a hypothetical about how they get back to the others? I would really love them getting stuck in some kind of sticky situation together (how and when is your choice) and having to get out of it by themselves. Post-canon fic of them together somehow would also be awesome!

I highkey ship this, as well! I would love Onni trying to sit Reynir down and explain some things about magic. My ideal would a fic where they finally meet in the real world! Assuming they make it home safe from their current mission, Onni will probably be waiting for them to come out of quarantine, right? A first (physical) meeting fic would be cute. Or, for an optional darker fic, what if something (potentially Tuuri's death) causes Onni to become a kade, and Reynir (with his endless enthusiasm) determines that he has to help him. I would be so here for a fic in which Reynir pursues Kade!Onni over the years, never doubting that he'll eventually come back.

 
 

 

Another pair of star-crossed lovers in parallel to Romeo and Juliet? Or perhaps a version of the play that's just about them? How do these two end up meeting, and what's different about Benvolio that allows Tybalt to get over the fact that he's a Montague? Maybe they meet in a place where Tybalt absolutely cannot afford to start a fight and has to talk to Benvolio, and finds himself intrigued?

 

How did these two first meet, and how do they fall in love? I would love loud, party boy Mercutio falling for the somewhat quieter and more sensible Benvolio. Does he admit to it immediately or hide it? Does Benvolio resist it? An AU where Juliet marries Mercutio as a cover would be hilarious if that's something you're into ;) 

 
 

Possible ideas: the academic hires the adventurer to help them retrieve a specific artefact/excavate a site/research an old ruin? Or perhaps they're both hired by the King/Queen to look into something? The adventurer goes to the academic for knowledge, and thinks he's cute? Perhaps they meet in the library and are both instantly smitten, and the adventurer keeps coming back even though he doesn't need anything else?

I love the idea of this pairing as clashing cultures/sports who eventually come to understand each other. Maybe they train at the same rink and are always fighting for ice time? Maybe they each just don't understand how the other's sport can be enjoyable, but watching each other makes them understand? I would love anything to do with this pair being at the Olympics - maybe they meet there, in the opening ceremony? Maybe they've known each other forever but seeing the other perform at the top level changes the way they see them? Perhaps one or both win a medal and they get together in the drunken afterparty and then have to deal with it (bonus if they sort of didn't like each other before). Basically I would love two people who kind of dislike each other's sport coming together and falling in love while growing to understand each other.

 

I would love the supervillain going from irritated to exasperated to fond to unwillingly but hopelessly in love. The superhero just never gives up, never stops smiling - how??? I would love the superhero being determined that they're not going to give up until the supervillain turns good and the supervillain being endlessly amazed at the superhero's optimism and stubbornness. Bonus for a supervillain who feels like he's not worthy of love and trust but craves both from the superhero anyway.

Basically two people who stopped giving a fuck a long time ago fall in love. What happened to make them world-weary/retired? Why have they given up on the whole superhero/supervillain thing? How long has it been since they last met? I would love something where the supervillain heard rumours his nemesis had  died, went to investigate, and instead found him alive and they got talking. Maybe it's a comedy piece where they're both say, on holiday or on a cruise, and they unexpectedly have to deal with each other. Just unending snark and banter and slowly coming to like each other now that they don't have unshakeable morals getting in the way (though maybe they sometimes still argue just a little).
